The efficient pattern
The CDC recommends annual influenza vaccination for everyone six months and older; a September–October urgent care flu shot takes minutes as an add-on to any visit. Tetanus status gets checked automatically with wound care — boosters are due every ten years, or five for dirty wounds.
School requirements
Illinois ties school registration to immunization records. Clinics offering school physicals typically administer catch-up vaccines in the same visit — bring the child's vaccination record so gaps are real, not paperwork artifacts.
