Pediatric urgent care treats children's sudden illness and minor injuries with clinicians who see kids all day, child-sized equipment, and weight-based dosing. For most childhood fevers, sore throats, ear infections, and playground injuries, it's the right first stop — at a fraction of pediatric ER cost.
What it handles
Fevers in children over three months, strep and flu testing, ear infections, pink eye, croup and mild wheezing in known asthmatics, vomiting and diarrhea without severe dehydration, rashes, minor cuts, and sprains. The non-negotiable ER list
Any fever of 100.4°F+ in an infant under 3 months, labored breathing (retractions, grunting, blue tint), seizures, serious dehydration, and head injuries with confusion or repeated vomiting are emergency-department cases every time.
